HUB50HOUSE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: HOW WE’RE KEEPING RESIDENTS & STAFF SAFE

July 15, 2020

At Hub50House, we stand strong together — while standing apart. Here are the safety precautions we’ve implemented that help us make it happen.

Staying strong together — at a distance. Hub50House has taken that philosophy to heart, protecting the health and safety of our members and staff in accordance with state guidelines. As Massachusetts COVID-19 cases keep falling, we’ve implemented a number of safety precautions in order to re-open our amenity spaces and offer in-person tours by appointment only. Here’s what you can expect when you visit the building or leave your residence.

Safety precautions focus on the wellbeing of our residents and staff.

Entering Hub50House

Say “hi” to our mask-clad concierge staff. They are, as always, happy to help and answer your questions — only now they will do so from a safe distance of at least 6 feet. To facilitate social distancing, we’ve installed safety barriers at the front desk and also are staggering staff schedules to give everyone room to move around safely.

Did you order takeout? (P.S. Guy’s is back open for delivery and dine-in!) Food deliveries have gone contactless, so you can pick them up from the designated cart in the lobby (to the right of the front desk).

Heading to your apartment? Feel free to grab disinfectant screen wipes in the lobby to clean your device on the way up. Elevators are reserved for members of one household at a time.

Continuing to the amenity spaces

Hub15 is open — with safety precautions in place! The 14,000-square-foot collection of indoor and outdoor luxury amenities on the 15th floor is yours to enjoy. All you need to do is wear a protective mask and maintain social distance with other residents. In case you forget, signage throughout the building sends gentle reminders to practice social distancing.

This means you can still go on a mini-vacation (or work from home) on The Skyline Deck, a lush outdoor space featuring private entertainment pods, grills, and a fire pit. Or, watch the planes taking off over the Harbor from a cozy chair in The Living Room, which stretches across the building’s entire southeast wall.

Want to get a workout in while savoring those views? Rest your eyes on the Zakim Bridge from the seat of a Peloton in The Gym. The Business Center, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, is open too. And so is The Den. And The Game Room. And… you get the picture. Wherever you go, our dedicated sanitation team has been there first.

We’re all in this together.

As you visit our common spaces at Hub50House, remember our safety precautions help us take an active part in stopping the spread of this novel coronavirus. Thank you for staying together — and apart.
